The Department of Labor has issued its final ruling on new overtime laws that go into effect on January 1, 2020. The annual salary threshold has changed. Positions that are currently classified as salaried/exempt and making less than the new threshold will need to be raised to that level or re-classified as hourly/non-exempt and be subject to overtime.
