Kirton McConkie has significant experience with sports law issues and disputes at the collegiate, national and international levels.

SPORTS LAW EXPERIENCE

• Arbitration with the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC)
• Experience before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland
• Doping policy development for the USOC
• Representation of an Olympic athlete in an ongoing dispute with the International Federation for Bobsled and Skeleton (FIBT) to help get the Nigerian Skeleton Federation recognized as a member of the FIBT
• Representation of clients to the Court of Arbitration for Sport on matters involving chess, cycling, and football
• Sports agent experience related to the NBA and MLB
• Experience with the the State of Utah Athlete Agent Licensing Board
• Experience with the NCAA Infractions Appeal Committee
• Counsel to the Salt Lake Organizing Committee on several hundred trademarks for the 2002 Olympics
