Shareholder Lance Rich to Serve on Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys Board of Trustees
Lance D. Rich, JD, a Kirton McConkie shareholder and member of the firm’s Adoption and Litigation sections has been elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA).

The Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA) is a credentialed, non-profit organization dedicated to the competent and ethical practice of adoption and assisted reproduction law. It advocates for laws and policies to protect the best interests of children, the legal status of families formed through adoption and assisted reproduction, and the rights of all interested parties. It is represented by nearly 500 attorneys or “Fellows” from the United States, Canada, Australia, Argentina, Israel and the United Kingdom who specialize in adoption law, assisted reproductive technology law (ART) or both. Leadership in AAAA
In 2020, attorney Lance Rich from Kirton McConkie was elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of AAAA. The Board of Trustees is comprised 13 fellows of AAAA who manage this prestigious organization. As a member of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Rich is highly involved in matters of adoption policy, legislation, and ongoing training, in the United States and abroad, of leading attorneys who specialize in adoption and assisted reproduction technology law.
On top of these duties Mr. Rich serves as co-chair of the Adoption Agency Committee, as a member and liaison for the ICWA Committee, and as a member of the Membership Committee within the AAAA. Additionally, Mr. Rich is part of the AAAA’s Diversity Task Force. He also serves on a joint task force, concentrated on subsidy and foster issues, with AAAA fellows and members of the National Council for Adoption.
Mr. Larry Jenkins, a Kirton McConkie shareholder and member of the firm’s Litigation and Natural Resources and Energy sections, has previously served as a member of the AAAA Board of Trustees. Currently Mr. Jenkins serves as the co-chair of the AAAA ICWA Committee and chair of the AAAA Governmental Affairs Committee.
