Overview
Jack Mitchell is a member of the firm’s Litigation section. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mitchell practiced criminal defense, where he developed skills in all stages of the criminal litigation process. His focus is on offering effective and thorough advocacy for his clients. He believes no stone should be left unturned in representing his clients.
Mr. Mitchell graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University School of Law in May 2024. During his time at Creighton, he earned numerous accolades for his exceptional trial and advocacy skills, including the Excellence in Trial Advocacy Award from the Nebraska Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the David A. Svoboda Trial Advocacy Award. Mr. Mitchell's dedication to trial advocacy and legal excellence was further recognized with his induction into The Order of the Barristers in 2024.
While in law school, Mr. Mitchell served as the president of the Creighton Law Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. His dedication to academic excellence earned him awards in many law school courses. In 2024, Mr. Mitchell was inducted in Alpha Sigma Nu, which membership is the highest academic honor that a Jesuit institution can bestow. He also assisted as a judicial extern for Judge Brian Buescher in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska.
