Ms. Sorensen is member of Kirton McConkie’s Real Estate Group and its Southern Utah Practice Group. She represents national and local clients in negotiating and documenting site acquisition and sale contracts, development agreements, loan documents, leases, and easements in connection with big-box retail stores, apartment buildings, shopping centers, golf courses, hotels, grocery stores, retail distribution centers, and educational facilities.
Ms. Sorensen also handles general corporate and transactional matters and has substantial experience working with direct selling companies, advising them with respect to their policies and procedures, contracts, consulting agreements, and compliance. In addition, she has handled the incorporation of several nonprofit groups and assisted them in obtaining recognition of tax-exempt status from the IRS.
Ms. Sorensen is well-versed in promotions and marketing law, providing advice to clients on conducting legally compliant sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions.
